and directed with original music by Jonathan Christenson,
Carmen Angel follows the haunting recollections
of a crime photographer, Joe, (performed by Chris
Caddock) and a fateful incident from his youth
in a small valley town when a young girl was discovered
dead by the banks of the river. A classic crime-thriller
narrative in which a small image revealed in the
silence of his darkroom leads him into a haunting
journey to return to his past and uncover the
truth. Catalyst Theatre have previously played
their acclaimed performances in Scotland and here
visit Chapter for the first time prior to a run
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
